The NHS doesn’t cover care for dementia patients. Instead, their well-being is left in the hands of family and friends. It’s a crippling and unnecessary strain.

We wanted to tell the story not of the lives claimed by the disease, but by the broken care system. An issue that can be cured.

Launched on ITV News, the campaign raised 140,000 petition signatures in two weeks and brought 30,000 new campaigners onto the AS team. Most importantly it was debated in parliament, and supported by cabinet members of all major parties, including the Prime Minister.
